TRC Grand Bassa Coordinator Is Dead...Public Hearings Suspended

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Liberia (TRC) has suspended Institutional and Thematic Public Hearings due to the sudden death of the Commission's Grand Bassa County Coordinator.
The coordinator, Mr. Jacob Corporal died on Sunday, November 9 while attending church service in the provincial capitol of Buchanan.
The deceased was an outstanding staff of the commission who was very instrumental in the successful conduct of the TRC's activities including organizational, statement taking and public hearings exercises in the county.
Meanwhile, the TRC extends heartfelt condolence to the family of Mr. Corporal and pray for the peaceful reposition of his soul and the souls of all perfect departed.
The commission informs the public that a new date for the resumption of public hearings will be announced soon.
